Care and maintenance

Stainless steel is very hygienic and durable, but proper care keeps it looking great. For daily cleaning, use warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft microfibre cloth. Always wipe in the same direction as the metal’s brushed grain to avoid superficial scratches.

For tough grease, dried food, or limescale, use a stainless steel cleaner or a paste made from baking soda and water. Be sure to rinse the worktop thoroughly afterwards. Never use abrasive pads, steel wool, or harsh chemicals like bleach and chlorine. These can damage the protective chromium oxide layer, leading to permanent discolouration or pitting. A quick buff with a dry microfibre cloth after cleaning prevents water spots and keeps the shine.
