Stainless steel pass-through sinks

A pass-through sink, also known as a transit table or pass-through dishwasher table, is a tough stainless steel unit designed to connect directly to the side of an industrial pass-through dishwasher. Unlike standard kitchen sinks, the pass-through sink is just one part of a bespoke dishwashing station. This bridges the physical gap between where dirty dishes, placed there by the kitchen staff, are then cleaned. This process is carried out constantly in commercial kitchens.

The cleaning and washing process:- to ensure a continuous flow of clean plates and dishes emerging from the dishwasher, pass-through sinks are constructed to ensure that constant, high-volume dishwashing is a highly efficient process.

Standard dishwashing racks align perfectly with specially adjusted lips and tracks to glide easily from the sink into the dishwasher. This allows kitchen staff to push the full racks into the machine without having to lift them; they slide straight into the dishwasher.

Options include a bin chute cut out in the steel adjacent to the sink bowl where food waste can be directly scraped into an under-worktop receptacle. This reduces occurrences of grease build-up which blocks drains. Dishes and plates are then rinsed using a high pressure water nozzle and scraped before the final washing stage.
